Missing Order Customer Service Nightmare
I placed an order for 2 small speakers for a total of $818. I received an email and text that the order was going to be delivered on 3/26 via fedex. I took the day off work to make sure I was home for the delivery. No notification that it was going to be delayed or anything. I worked on Saturday to make up the day I took off during the week. Once I arrive at work about 2 hours in I get a notification that they would deliver on Saturday. I arrived home and there was no package. I reached out to dell they asked for a photo of my front door and told me there was nothing that they can do because it was delivered. No signature was required and the door bell camera shows fedex just threw the box on the floor and ran. No intend of hiding the package, knocking or even a door bell ring. I cannot see the face of the person who came shortly after FedEx and took the box. I was told by dell to file a claim with my home owners insurance. What kind of customer service is that? What exactly is home owners insurance going to do for something I have not received? I have ordered from dell about 8 times all over $500 and some are items are more valuable than the speakers I ordered. I have called and emailed so many times asking for an update or to speak to a manager and now I just don’t get a response. Why wouldn’t a signature be required? Why would dell make sure they avoid delivery issues? FedEx doesn’t care about the service they provide.

Hi
That to me is a simple case of theft. Contact Law Enforcement.
Make claim thereafter for the value of the goods.
By doing the above you have a remote possibility of helping someone else avoid such a theft, because whoever is doing the theft is following the delivery truck and may well appear on neighbourhood cameras, hopefully ID ed and apprehended.
Please don't just write off $818 dollars (that is quite a lot of UK Sterling pounds) because replacements are likely to be more expensive.
