Laptop purchased in UK, get repaired in India?

It depends on  your warranty.  In order to qualify for an international warranty transfer, you must have an extra-cost onsite service plan (the basic warranty applies only in the UK), and the system model you have must be sold in India.

Otherwise, the system will need to be returned to the UK for warranty repair.
