Is there a way to private message Dell Cares?

Is there a way to private message Dell Cares about an unresolved problem? Is that the place to start?

You can briefly describe your issue here (do not post any private information on this public forum) and Dell-Care or Mods will initiate a direct message to communicate with you.

I purchased a laptop through the Outlet for the first time, after purchasing new Dell hardware previously. I have limited vision and didn't realize the keyboard wasn't backlit because of the abbreviations or codes used for specifications on the invoice. I exchanged a number of emails with Dell Online Customer Care. When I contacted Customer Care later I was told to contact Warranty Verification. I also contacted tech support because I couldn't find the order number.

I received separate notifications of a support request and a service request from tech support. Tech support told me the restocking fee has gone from 15 to 25 percent, and that there is supposedly a refund request open but no one has contacted me on how and where to return the laptop.

I don't know who to contact about the returning the laptop. I never received a response after the support request notification 3 days ago. I urgently need to resolve this because I do not have a functioning laptop for personal use. Thank you.

Whenever customers are posting their issues on Customer Care forum, @DELL-Cares will send a response with request for account information and routing to the appropriate personnel.  Because of customers personal info, the communication will be sent through direct messaging to protect customers.

You may receive the inquiry and that is when you have access to communicate through private message.  Note that the business hours are observed and Dell may not contact you until Monday, US Central Time.
