Inspiron 7790 AIO, 2020, told to try a repair shop in town
I have been dealing with Dell Customer Rep for a month now and my out of warranty service request is not resolved yet. My unit was sent for repair follow an agent request to send it to dell directly. Now they are sending it back because they can't hold the computer because they don't know when the part comes in. The part can be changed with a lesser quality item but they say they don't that either. My recent service request is now closed by a Dell Escalation Rep. My unit was not resolved and they decided to close it, as I try to escalate it get support. Back to the subject, is there a way to contact Dell Corporate to escalate this case? I asked to escalate but never get anywhere.
My wife and are office managers. Do you think we will continue to buy Dell products? If we are treated this way and Dell can't fix our issues. It seems like the lower level Dell Rep and Dell Escalation Team does not care about customer service and push it back to us. Telling to try a shop in town. How can the shop fix it Dell doesn't carry the parts or can't get the parts?

If it's an in-warranty repair and they cannot supply the parts, they're obligated to provide a refurbished replacement system.
If this is a paid, out of warranty repair, that's a different issue -- they cannot repair the system if they cannot source whatever part(s) you need. Try another source of repair or parts -- in the US, one good one is parts-people.com.
