How to return a faulty laptop to Dell UK?

Hi All,

At whits end with repeat service calls that are not addressing an issue with an asset that is clearly defective. Can't get anyone in the Dell customer service team to engage in an adult conversation about returning the asset. Does anyone have a UK telephone number i can try? Losing money daily as the asset is not working and desperately need to sort

Hi,

Can you advise how I can return a malfunctioning laptop please? Have asked the same of Customer services via email and that request has been ignored so far. Have asked for a UK telephone number for Customer services in a separate thread. Need to resolve today if possible as the issue is costing me hours in work time.

If it's less than 30 days from shipment, contact Technical Support and ask for a return for refund.

It sounds like the system is more than that age -- or if it was purchased by a business, the 30 day return period is either expired or does not apply.

Thank you @ejn63​ - shipped >30 days ago, powered up for <30 days and randomly shutting down.

Issue is not able to be solved by Technical Support team who keep recycling "sure fixes that will definitely sort the issue" at 2 hours a call.

Just need to talk to someone ideally and go through the process to get this unfit for purpose laptop (XPS 15 9530!) refunded. Have lost about 2 days of paid work on an out of the box laptop that just doesn't work, can't find any resolution inside Dell.
