HDD password protected
I have been using my Dell Latitude E6420 for over six months. It started giving me problems last month, after booting it would jam after maybe 3 minutes, then I had to do a reboot that's when it would be working. Now it's telling me that the HDD is password protected and I have to put in the password, which I don't know.
My computer system number is 1D3B <Private data removed from public view. DELL-Admin>
And the hard drive number is 501WJ39YJ3Z-1D3B
I need a way to remove the HDD password without erasing my data.
Please help.

You'll need a data recovery company's assistance. If you value the data at more than the cost of a few hundred dollars, that's the only path forward.
