Email from designteam@listening.dell.com

I have received an email from the above address asking me to rate a monitor that I have not purchased. All the links in the message seem genuine (I haven't clicked any), but, as it involves a US based sweepstakes and I reside in the UK, I can only believe that a Dell database is awry. However, since the sending email address is not monitored and the Dell website's Contacts pages have no relevant information, I am at a loss as to whom to inform. Therefore, any suggestions would be welcome.

TIA,

Dave

Do not click any links in the email. Click the DELL-Cares username. Then look to the right and click, "Send this user a direct message". Provide to them a copy of the email and link to your post here.

I'm also having a similar problem with an e-mail from Dell Technologies <DesignTeam@listening.dell.com>. As of September 28th 2024, I've probably received (3) such emails in the past week on a Dell XPS 9640 that I purchased a couple of months ago.  <Follow the same instructions above. DELL-Admin>

@DELL-Chris M There sadly is no "Send this user a direct message", there is however a "private message" button, but the button does not work ... it just sends you to some kind of default website here https://www.dell.com/community/en/categories/dell-community.

I received similar emails from DesignTeam@listening.dell.com about the "<my correct laptop model> solution" and how i would rate it / recommend it. I don't even know what they mean by solution?
