Dell technician
I called Dale technical help a week ago and explained that the AC cord was torn and that the place where you plug it in was no longer holding the AC cord I needed those two parts replaced. The Dell technician charge me $50 to send me a FedEx box. Send them back my laptop. Get it fixed and return it to me. I have not heard back from them. Then I got an email that told me they had received my laptop then I got another email a couple of days later saying that they had not received my computer and that they were worried about what it happened. I called Dell technical department, and I got a gentleman which English is enough for language. He would not let me speak. He continue to interrupt me. I finally let him speak. He asked me all these questions. I answered all this questions. Then I told him about the two emails then he continued to speak explaining that he did not have any information that he would have to go look for it came back couple minutes later informed me that there was four repairs that needed to be done to my laptop. When was the AC cord? The other one was the in Plug the top plastic part of the laptop in the bottom, part plastic of the laptop that they haven’t been able to fix it because it’s gonna take 30 days to get the two plastic parts for the upper and lower part of the laptop. I tried and tried and tried and tried to explain that I do not approve. I do not want the top part or the bottom part of the plastic replaced I just want the AC cord and the unplugged replaced. He would not stop talking he kept explaining and explaining and explaining and explaining and explaining and explaining and explaining how it was important to replace the top of the bottom part how the AC coordinated to be replaced how the unplugged needed to be replaced and would not allow me to speak. Finally, I started screaming at him on the phone, but I wanted to talk to someone else because he was not listening to me. The laptop belongs to me. I had originally spoken to someone and agreed the agreement was that I would send the laptop in the AC and the unplugged would be repaired and they would send it back to me I am not requesting. I am not approving. I am not paying for the plastic parts replaced. I don’t want them replaced and the man does not listen. He continued again to explain and explain and explain how the four parts need to be replaced and how it was gonna take 30 days because the two plastic parts that were missing Which I do not want replaced will take 30 days to find again same man explained do not repair the plastic parts. I don’t want the repair repaired then hand inform me that Dell will return the laptop with no repairs done because the policy is either we repair what we want to repair and you have to pay for it or we don’t repair anything at all so they were gonna send back the laptop without repairing it . I told him I needed to speak with someone else because this is not how does business I have been buying their laptops and their computers for my children and myself for over 20 years and this is not how Dell treats their customers he would not allow me to speak to anybody else because there was no one else there that I could speak to. I went back to the email that said they had not received my computer and were concerned about where it was and I wrote a very long email explaining that the only repairs I approved the only repairs we spoke of was the AC cord in the unplugged and that was the only repairs that I wanted done to my laptop. That was the only reason I sent the laptop and to please just do those repairs and return it to me. I just now got an email from deal telling me that the repairs are $139 and apparently there’s three repairs so I had to call to find out what Dell has decided to do to my laptop now I got the same man what are the chances that in this world I would get the same Man and again he would not let me talk. He kept asking me questions and questions and questions and questions and I was trying to explain to him. This is the repair number that he said well I don’t know anything about that. I need to go look when he came back he told me to wait. He told me not to speak until he was finished explaining so he told me he explained in the detail the four repairs that need to be done he explained why each item needs to be done. Finally when he was finished I said is it my turn to speak now and I told him I do not approve the repairs of the plastic parts. All I want you to repair is why I spoke with a technician the very first day and I told him what needed to be fixed because this is exactly what happened two years ago exactly the same problem happened two years ago and that is exactly what I need to replaced and then he started to explain again in Excruciating detail the four things that has decided to repair on my laptop and that it’s gonna take 30 days before I get it again I told the man that I understand I am a woman, and therefore, he will not respect me. He will not listen to me. He will speak, and that is the end of that. I asked him to speak to someone else he would not allow me to speak to anyone else, so Dale has my laptop won’t give it back. I can’t get it repaired because of this Dell technician has decided what he approves what he decides needs to be done to my laptop, and unless I agree, and I pay for it, my laptop will not be repaired .
so I need someone to call me that respect women that listens to women I would like that person to please call me so I can get my Dell laptop repaired and get it back to me immediately. The only reason the technician is saying it’s gonna take 30 days is because of the two plastic parts that I do not I do not want or approve to be replaced so therefore since I own the Dell laptop and I am asking for only the AC cord in the unplugged to be repaired just like it was two years ago.
