Dell Support Number Is Extremely Unhelpful!
I just received a Dell Ultrasharp 43K last week. Worked great, until it started blanking out randomly. So I called the support number, after a few steps, they automated system transferred me to a call center in India. They took my express service number and then transferred me to technical department - so far so good. But when the tech department answered, they kept saying "Hello? Hello? Is anyone there?" They couldn't hear me. This happened to me 3 times!! I told the India representative when I called back, the transfer to the Tech Department is not working!! Let me talk to a supervisor. They REFUSED! Their ONLY option was to do the very thing that wasn't working! They don't have any training on how to handle something out of the ordinary. Or they are too scared to tell a supervisor that something out of the ordinary is happening. Dell used to be a solid company, but the lack of these basic procedures is astounding! This is an $1,100 monitor that I have had for one week, and I can't talk to a representative because of their call center issues.
