Dell support experience
Five months in, really enjoying the ownership experience...
"Thank you for reaching out and sharing the detailed information regarding the issues you’ve been experiencing with your Dell PC. I completely understand how frustrating it must be to face intermittent connectivity and reliability problems, especially with a device that is only a few months old.
I appreciate the time and effort you’ve already invested in troubleshooting with Dell support and the inconvenience caused by having to rely on an older laptop. Your concerns about the repeated resets and the lack of resolution are valid, and I want to assure you that we take this matter seriously.
To move forward,we request you to reinstall the operating system to fix the issue...
...and once completed, you can use the device as if it were brand new."
So after 5 months of not fixing the issue we can return to the beginning, it's almost like support are running down the clock on warranty - 5 months down just 7 to go.
It is when things go wrong you see what a company is like and in Dell's case it is minimum legal response with evil support. For any of you still within the returns window, save yourselves now. My only recourse is legal action through Trading Standards as Dell has no recognised complaints process.
