Dell Rewards Question

I have two Dell accounts that have some Dell Rewards on. Since it's not possible to combine or transfer them, is it possible to use 2 Dell accounts on a single purchase? For an example, account 1 adds the product to the cart, applies the Dell Rewards, and the price gets saved. The cart is then forwarded to the second account. The second account then applies the Dell Rewards and pays the remaining balance.

Google bought me to a community post here which seems to say it was possible in a way. "To redeem rewards earned by multiple accounts, individual account information can be entered at checkout, and a maximum of three forms of payment is allowed for any given order."

Am I reading it wrong, doesn't that mean I can use multiple accounts during checkout to use the Dell Rewards? If so, I don't see that option.
