dell rancid customer service

i bought a lattitude 3550 from a pawn shop LEGALLY with reciept.  in all fifty states ALL pawn shop items are cleared with the police.  as its ILLEGAL due to privacy laws they cant give me the information dell insists on getting because ITS CONFIDENTIAL.  i have no issue with the pawn shop as i understand that but, silly me, i thought dell would honor their warranty.

WRONG....dell has no interest in helping me at all.  my warranty, which covers mail in serivce could be honored by simply FIXING IT and mailing it back.  i even said i would mail it at MY OWN EXPENSE.  i guess i should print out the warranty and use it for pet training.

please keep in mind if you buy a laptop from any charity church or pawn shop EXPECT RANCID WARRANTY SERIVCE AS THATS GIVEN BUT NOT OVERTLY STATED.

i also am on my own for any jumper locations or even a copy of the serial number as its case sensitive and i didnt copy it down right.

i would certainly comment more graphically on this rancid treatment but you get the idea.  its easier to issue worthless paper. then when issues come up cya.  never again is being WAY too polite.

I think in USA and probably some other countries too, second hands and used products do not have any warranty unless the sellers specifically offered.

As for Dell products, the warranty was paid for by the original owners and only they (original owners) have the legal right to allow it (warranty) to be transferred.
