Dell laptop issues

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the repeated issues I have faced with my system within the past six months. Below is a summary of the problems I have encountered:

1. The SSD has crashed twice.

2. Windows has crashed around 4–5 times.

3. The motherboard had been replaced.

4. After that, the LCD went blank.

5. Again, Windows crashed 2–3 more times.

6. The Alienware Command Center stopped working.

7. After resolving the Alienware issue, Windows became unstable again (another 2–3 crashes).

8. After addressing all of these problems, I experienced the same issue again next day

9. Upon speaking with a support executive, I was told the keyboard needs to be replaced. However, I informed them that due to the constant issues, I would prefer a system replacement. Unfortunately, the replacement window has expired, and it cannot be done at that moment.

10. On 9/07/2024 I a raised complaint and wanted my system to be replaced but the Advance Resolution Team said to give them a last chance for repairing the system. They took the system and changed some parts, changed the window and after completion of the service they asked me take it and when I checked the system on spot the motherboard crashed and it was changed on that very moment. So I got my system back after 8-10 working days.

11. From February 2025 again the same issues started like before. Due to my exams/some work I was not able to submit my system at service centre then in March I gave my system to service centre for about 5 days and after using it for not more than 2-3 days the system was not working properly. I again raised the complaint and asked for a replacement for a new laptop but they were giving me a refurbished one.

12. Due to these issues I had to face from a long time it hindered my work, my college projects were always late because of it, I got issues with my internship, it affected my mental health a lot. I constantly had to go to service centre which took a lot of my time.

I am writing this email to bring these points to the attention of the concerned team. I am extremely disappointed, especially given that the system has not been heavily used.

Due to my frustration and the lack of reliability, I request that if any open service requests exist, they be closed immediately. I will not be proceeding with any further system-related services.

It seems to be a global issue (I ordered in France) as I purchased a Dell Inspiron 15 back in September 2024 and am now facing the same issues as yourself.  We spoke to a tech who suggested we download an update direct from the Dell cloud and then promptly closed the file!  I am now awaiting a call back from someone.  We have re-loaded everything 12 times from drivers to updates and within a few minutes the whole system freezes!!! It's within it's 12 month hardware warranty but nobody wants to take responsibility.  The customer service help and assistance has been useless.
