Dell has horrible tech support.

When I purchased my Dell laptop I purchased every warrantee they had what a waste of money that was.  Their tech support are useless, utterly useless.  I told them that my battery only lasts about 2 hours and was told that I would have to buy a battery.  One of the warrantees that I bought was to cover the battery, I also got the warrantee that if the PC needs servicing that a tech would come to my home to fix it, HP has the same service.  Even when they escalated the issue telling me that it would take 24-48 hours to receive a response I didn't hear back from them until after 100 hours.  I have been contacting them for going on 3 weeks now.  Originally the system was freezing up.  Despite having multiple techs access my PC the only thing that fixed it was when I REINSTALLED WINDOWS MYSELF.  Then there was a critical Windows update that simply would not install so I contacted them again.  After about 2 hours of having a tech in my system the tech removed my Dell Assist then ended the chat session while the system was booting up for the 10th time.  Now I can't update my PC or run diagnostics.  So, I called again, was hung up on then I called back and got a tier two level tech only for him to say I need a tier three tech, and I would hear back from the tier 3 department within 24-48 hours.  That was a lie.  After 100 hours because they don't work nights or weekends, I got an email asking for a date and time to call me.  So, I replied with a date and time.  Hours later I receive an email saying they said they would be happy to call me a day after I requested the call back.  They are supposed to fix my PC when it's convenient for me, not them.  I used to do tech support and if I had treated my customers the way Dell treats their customers I would have been fired.  I have 8 months left on my warrantees and I doubt the PC will last that long. And to the Dell rep who will reply to this comment, saying they are sorry and will try to do better, yeah more empty words, save your breath I'm not smellin what your sellin.  Dell knows they have horrible support, yet they do nothing to fix the problem.  All that is, is damage control.  They're just trying to save face, but no one is buying it anymore.  So, I am going to run this PC into the ground, then it will go to a land fill where it will rot.  In August PC's go on sale when students going back to school, that's when I'll buy another PC (AGAIN NOT A DELL) which is 5 months before my warrantees expire, a huge waste of money.  Horrible tech support, worthless warrantees, Dell should be ashamed of themselves.
