delivery date has been delayed for the 4th time

I placed an order 3 weeks ago and the delivery date has been delayed for the 4th time now without an explanation! Credit card wants payment for a computer I don't have! I called and told by a nobody that he's sorry but demand is high so they're behind! Fair would have been to say that up front and I would have gone elsewhere! Very poor organization.
