Customer Service

I am disappointed Dell has chosen to replace its customer service people with AI chat and phone communication. Both are useless. This results in not only poor customer service, it results in no customer service. What a nightmare this has been.

I placed an order online on 8/29/25 but my account shows no orders in the last 45 days, so virtual assistant is useless if it shows no orders. I received an email the day I placed the order that said "Thanks you for your order. You'll receive an order confirmation soon."  I didn't. And I can't get any help with this. I've spoken to two people this week and the first said he needed to transfer me and after being on hold for over 30 minutes the line went dead. Do you know how hard it is to get to talk to a live person? It's nearly impossible. I finally got to talk to another lady and she seemed to be trying to help. She wanted to transfer me and I asked her not to because I had been hung up on this week already. She kept putting me on hold and finally said she would have to call me back. I asked if she would call me back today and she assured me she would call back in 10 minutes. That was 50 minutes ago. Now I am needing to go to lunch but hate to leave and miss the call, that is, IF she calls back. I'm so frustrated dealing with Dell this week over something that should be so simple.
