Collection as shipping method

Dear Dell,

I would like to provide the following sincere feedback.

I was about to purchase a laptop on Dell for £1000. I had everything in my cart and prepared to set up payment.

However, I then realised that you only have the option for direct delivery with signature.

I would like to point out to the following logic that affects massively revenue.

Someone being able to purchase a new laptop from Dell requires to be in full time employment. Which in return means that the person works full time. You have only the option to deliver to the home address with signature required.

Which a full time employed individual is not able to do. The only option available is to gamble and wait until Thursday to give the order. Either being delivered on Saturday or Friday. If the delivery occurs on Friday, the rescheduled redelivery will likely occur on Monday. Etc.

As such, I decided to buy a slightly worser laptop from Currys and a competitor which I can collect.
