Cannot claim ownership of laptop
There is a problem that I've been having with my laptop for nearly the entire life of the device. I've called Dell Customer Support so many times for help solving the issue. Never have they presented me with a way to fix my problem, and I've scoured the internet for the last year, and have not managed to find anyone that even has the same problem. However, my most recent call to Dell Customer Support is where my newest problem has arisen. I was told that my laptop has gone out of warranty recently, and I was asked to verify my information. I told them every variation of my name, and every zip code I've lived in since I've had this laptop. I was told that none of the information matches the records. At this point I don't even care about my original problem, because I've found a makeshift workaround that I know isn't good for my laptop hardware. Right now I am simply concerned about the fact that I am not the registered owner of this laptop, and have absolutely no way to transfer to ownership to my current information. I received the laptop as a part of a college scholarship, and think maybe that whoever at the organization from which I received the scholarship was the one who ordered the laptop may have had it unknowingly registered to their information. Now when I get rid of this laptop(which is inevitable because it probably won't live much longer than another year or so), I won't be able to properly transfer the ownership, and the new owner will have the same issue if they try to claim proper ownership of it. I have literally no way of finding out who this laptop is registered to if it was registered to someone at the scholarship-issuing organization.
So I was wondering if there was any way other to transfer ownership to myself without any of the information of who it was initially registered to. I understand that this is most likely in place to prevent theft of a laptop, but I've got pictures of myself on it dating back to when the laptop was first turned on, and I am willing to do anything necessary to prove that I am the legal owner of the laptop.
This problem is intensely frustrating and I've found myself requiring extreme levels of patience to refrain from using massive amounts of profanity and slander against Dell and their employees. I'm very tired of spending so much time on the phone only to not get any help, and I've nearly completely lost my faith in Dell and their ability to help their customers. The fact that it has taken so long for me to receive any help that my laptop has gone out of warranty, despite useless attempt at receiving help while it was under warranty, severely angers me, and shows me how little compassion Dell has for their customers.
This is going to be my last attempt to get any help for any issue from Dell. If I cannot get even this ownership issue resolved, then I'm selling this ~$600 laptop for $100 and buying a new, non-Dell PC. So please, I don't want to have to stop buying Dell products forever, as I know they make quality products. However, never again do I want to have to deal with problems as frustrating as this.
So can someone please help me out?

This is the second Dell Support Community account I have made. While trying to receive support for the umpteenth issue I've been having with Dell, I was somehow locked out of the forums with my first account. When I try to log in, I'm either brought to an error screen, or returned to the community home page. I've tried logging in on multiple devices, and the same thing happens, regardless of the computer I'm using. I feel as if Dell thinks they cannot solve my issue, so they've blocked my account from being logged onto, so I can't receive any help. This really seems intentional on Dell's part. Literally every time I try to get support for an issue, a new issue arises. My laptop has also gone out of warranty due to the excessive amount of time I've been given the run-around by Dell.
Can I please get some support?

No one blocked your account. I am looking at both of your accounts. They are live and not under any moderation. I even logged in under your first account and saw our private messages. As I stated on 10/23, give it 7-10 business days.
I see the problem. Your Inspiron 15-7537 was originally 1 of 133 identical Inspiron 15-7537 sold to Best Buy. All with a warranty from 6/8/14 to 9/6/15. Your request to transfer the warranty/ownership has been submitted for this Dell product:
Inspiron 15-7537 (private)
Please allow up to 7-10 business days for processing. Once the request has been reviewed, an email will be sent to the new owner’s email addresses that was provided in the form.

Yes, I had submitted a request, but I've already received an email stating that the request was denied because the previous owner information did not match the records. I had no information to put into the previous owner information fields, as I am the only one who has ever owned this laptop. The only information I put in for the previous owner was a few possible zip codes, the ones of places I've lived since owning the laptop. So again, I've already received the email for the request, and it has been denied. That is why I made the thread.

Understood. But I had access to the original owner information for the form. It should go through now.
