Can I buy in canada with a forgein credit card?

This might be a really stupid question but is it possible for a canadian to use a non-canadian credit card? I noticed when i went to check out the billing address only let you put a location in canada, however my dad's credit card (the card I'm using) is spanish. Is there anyway around this?
