Account-Number and Customer-Number

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if it's okay to share my Account Number or Customer Number with others. Are these considered sensitive information?

What could happen if malicious individuals gained access to such information?

Let's say I become a Premier Member. I know that for warranty or renewal purposes, Dell sends an email with a full list of devices that are expiring soon or have already expired. Are these files or information protected, or could they be accessed by others (not me or Dell entities)?

As you might have noticed, I'm concerned about privacy and security regarding these two questions. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could explain this clearly and thoroughly.
