Abysmal Customer Service
I have a 7 yr old Alienware desktop that the power supply died. I spoke with Dell customer service about purchasing the power supply and the representative committed to providing a quote within 24 hrs. I never did receive the quote even after inquiring via chat after 3 days and 6 days later I called to speak to another representative. That representative told me that Dell could not help me and could not get the part. No reason was offered up why the original rep never got back with me by email or phone. Amazon is shipping me the part tomorrow so it is available. Dell's service is abysmal. I have been loyal to Dell for close to 30 yrs over HP and other high quality brands because of Dell's previous high quality service. Between Dell trying to sell me a new computer, and pushing their own depot hardware repair service which must be quite expensive to ship a desktop, I will not return to Dell for my personal and corporate computer needs in the future. I spent the time to write this review only to appeal to Dell to make fundamental changes in their customer service model to not lose anymore customers. No customer should go 6 days without a response. Dell should have been upfront with the customer if they can not meet their needs. If Dell does not have the parts they should have third party suppliers that Dell would refer their customers too.

You won't find any other manufacturer stocking parts for a system this old - they all keep stock for in warranty repairs, and once the warranties end, it's third-party.
Parts-people.com specializes in Dell notebook replacement parts. Another one is impactcomputers.com

My apologies. The online Aurora R7 Parts & Repairs list one 850W Power Supply. I am not sure why they did not send you there.
