What does Dell Outlet Refurbished mean?

Everything from the Dell Outlet is legally refurbished. This is a legal disclaimer that Dell must put on the box because the product is being resold.

* Outlet New = Factory sealed products that were either canceled or unopened returns. Outlet New products do not have any cosmetic blemishes.

* Certified Refurbished = Previously opened/used product returned to Dell. They are tested and then resold. Product may have some cosmetic blemishes that do not affect performance.

* Scratch & Dent = Certified Refurbished product that have considerable cosmetic blemishes that do not affect performance.
