Issues Upgrading driver from 1.5 to 1.6 in Openshift 4.6.25
while trying to upgrade the DELL EMC CSI driver on OpenShift to 1.6 ( latest version ) to use with a 9.1 Isilon cluster I faced an issue.
During upgrade, I noticed the Isilon pods were in crashloop state, until I deleted the application pod that was mounting a volume using the CSI driver. Once I killed the application pod, the upgrade completed successfully.
Now, my question – is this the expected behavior of CSI driver? Do we have to follow a similar process for future upgrades, where we will scale down the application pods to zero before upgrade?

Hi @ergonzalezUDS
I understand that you tried to upgrade the DELL EMC CSI driver on OpenShift to 1.6.
Would like to know on few things:
1. From which version you upgraded to 1.6
2. And during the upgrade, which Isilon pods were in crashloop state.
3. Which application pod you killed that had mounted a volume using the CSI driver.
4. Kindly check our documentation portal and see the upgrade section for help, did you follow the same, let us know.
