csi powerscale mount permissions

When mounting a PV backed by dell csi powerscale, the mount dir is coming out with weird permissions like this:

drwxrwx---. 1586960 1000000
drwxrwx---. 1586960 1000000

This is preventing non-root users from accessing this storage.  I have tried many variations of permissions inside my pod spec and have had no luck.  How do we mount this storage so an application account can use it?
