SANnav appliance - internal SCP/SFTP username / password
Hi everyone,
i can't find the username for the internal scp service in SANnav. Can anybody help?
And additional: How can I change the password for internal scp after the installation. As I remember there was a step in the installationwizzard, but I can't find any script under /bin/*

Hello TMoh,
Which san appliance do you have as you didn’t list it in your post? Also, which model of Connectrix do you have as you didn’t list that as well?

Hi,
I'm using the SANnav 2.1.1 appliance (sannav-portal-v211). The models in the SAN are Connectrix X7-8, G610, G620 and G720.
Greetings

Hello TMoh,
Here is a link to Brocade® SANnav™ Management Portal User Guide, 2.1.1x which states how to change all passwords.

default password in 2.1.1 is "passw0rd" and user is admin. From 2.2 an donwards you specify the password during installation. to change the password run ./manage-sannav-configurations.sh script inside the SANNAV server and select option to update SANNAV configuration. (currently option 6). Hit enter until you come to the question about "Update SANav Management Portal SFTP/SCP password" change password and then continue with enter on all the other options filetransfer service is then restarted. and the new password is set.
