Relocating switches in the same data center

I have to relocate my Brocade switches in the data center.  I have redundant fabrics and I will be moving switches associated with one fabric and the other switches on a different day.  Is there a best way to shutdown the switches before moving them?  There will be activity continuing through the other fabric.  Should I switchdisable before powering off or does it not matter?

I'm with dynamox on this one. I wouldn't bother disabling... just do the "sysshutdown" for a graceful shutdown and you're good.

I'm curious, is there a Cisco equivalent for a clean shutdown ?

I don't believe there is a Cisco one, at least that they document.

Thank you.
