Performance manager will not start after upgrade to 4.2(3)

We were running 4.1(a) and have now done this upgrade in preparation for loading the new code level onto the switches.

Now we cannot get Performance Manager to start. After starting the FM service, in the web gui I see the PM service status as stopped. Clicking start the status changes to starting but stays at starting

.

In the PM log we see this message multiple times:

2010.02.24 14:28:32 INFO [PM] waiting while fabric FS02 is being discovered      - every 20 seconds or so. In this example FS02 is the first fabric it is trying to discover.

Prior to the upgrade I can confirm that this was working correctly. I have opened a ticket with EMC but would like to know if anyone has seen this before.

Hello,

Which licenses do you have on the switches you are trying to discover?

Thank you.
