take a look at "EMC Host Connectivity Guide for AIX" , make sure all looks ok from host perspective.

Hello,

It sounds like you are having network related issues and CM is loosing connections out to switches. It shouldn't be affecting the FC side of the switch, only management of the switches may have issues. Can you provide more details into what exactly happens when you see the message? What type of port are you seeing issues with? Have you opened a support case with EMC?

Thank you.

If you can provide the case number, I'll check the details on it. If you aren't getting the answers you require on the case you should be updating the support engineer to that and if necessary escalate the case. I'll delete the case number after you post it.

Thank you.

Hello,

I checked the case and it appears to me to be related to either a problem with the configuration of the hosts (drivers especially) or a patch panel in between the two connections. As the sftp has been replaced a couple of times and the switches errors point towards problems off of it, I'd start with loading the required drivers, checking cables, patch panels, etc.

Thank you.
