can you describe your environment ? Have all systems and storage been migrated to DCX and now you need to migrate from one storage array to another ?

Hello ,
coming to my environment we have 4-DMX 4 , 4-CLARiiONs , and now 2- VMAX s are coming with 5875 (Fast-VP) & coming to SAN we have 2 McData ED6064 . around 400 servers are connected to this Switch. Our plan is to take off this ED6064 and USE Brocade DCX. we have some other McData switches Older versions, but we are trying to migrate SAN ( ED6064 to DCX) than they will plan to do storage . DCX is fully configured and ready . So what is my major task is going to be??

cold cutover of 400 servers at once is probably out of the question
so i am thinking that you will need to ISL ED6064 and DCX unless you have enough available ports on DMX4 /Clariions that you could connect to DCX and simply swing the hosts over.

And one more question , How should we get zoning information from Mcdata ED 6064. As I never worked on Mcdata switches. But now got a chance to work.

you can export zoning information from Connetrix Manager/ DCFM into an XML file and import it on DCX.
