Fabric Watch: portstate stays Out_Of_Range although current value is in range
Hi,
I am using Fabric Watch on some v6.4.1a DCX. I want to get an errorlog entry for every status change of a port, for example every time a signal loss on a port occurs. I tried setting the Threshold Configuration like:
Time Base: Seconds
Low Boundary: 0
High Boundary: 0
Buffer Size: 0
With Alarm Configuration:
Changed: ERROR_LOG
So I would expect every time a signal loss happens I get an entry that the value is 1 Error/s and a second that the value is 0 Error/s and this seems to work. But additionaly the Ports get MARGINAL and stay MARGINAL, I believe because the state of the port in Fabric Watch like this:
Name State Reason Last Value Current Value Time
portLink008 Out_Of_Range Low Above 1 Error(s)/sec 0 Error(s)/sec
Shouldn't the state of the ports go back to In_Range again as the current Value 0 indicates?
Primus emc225204 looks a bit like that, but it predicts a fix in FOS 6.4.x
Any thoguhts?
Regards,
Michael
