Cisco 9148's and Cisco blade 9124e's - Enabling NPIV

We have a VNX 5700 and (2) Cisco 9148 FC switches for hosts to attach.  We also have a wide range of HP blades and FC connectivity from Cisco 9124e switches.

Now, my question regarding NPIV enabling.  For whatever reason the engineer enabled NPIV on Cisco 9148 "B" (2nd obv) but did not do so on "A" (first obv).  Would I introduce any possible issues to our environment/hosts by enabling NPIV on node "A"?

Same on the blade 9142e switches.  Would I introduce any issues by enabling NPIV there as well?

All attached hosts are either Windows or Solaris.
