Adding HP blade servers to fabric

Hi Guys,

we will add these servers to the existing fabric :

Blade Servers : HP BL460c G6 X5550

HBA Cards : HP BLc QLogic QMH2562 8Gb FC Dual Port HBA

SAN Switch :

HP B-series 8/12c BladeSystem SAN Switch (Brocade), each:

- Full Fabric

- Brocade

- 8 ports internal, 4 ports external

- Each switch includes 2 x 8Gb Short wave transceiver for external ports

Does any one know the steps to connect the san switches on these blades to the fabrics which is 2 "B-48K" directors for each fabric we have.

thanks in advance

when it comes to connecting blade enclosure switches to existing fabric, the easiest way to do that it by enabling access gateway mode on the enclosure switches and NPIV mode on your core switches.  You don't have to mess with fabric settings, increase your fabric size.  Take a look at this document but also verify firmware/connectivity support in E-Lab Navigator
