Veeam unable to mount/restore backup data store on disk created by Compellent

Hi All, As per subject above. We are using compellent with assigned 10TB volume to 3 ESXi host server. the volume consist of 5 guest VM with disk space created from the 10TB volume.

We encounter issue whereby one of the guest VM is backup server, we encounter weird issue with Veeam when trying to restore backup data from on of the disk created, whereby Veeam unable to mount/restore the file which prompt error "Unable to recover 52 keyset(s)

Cannot open a remote backup for the file level restore".from Veeam and error below from Compellent. "[auth_sc:error] [pid 16980:tid 34515093504] [16980] : [80] : cache_create_entry: [1621287834] already exists [auth_sc:error] [pid 16980:tid 34515089664] [16980] : [80] : cache_create_entry: [1621287834] already exists [auth_sc:error] [pid 16980:tid 34515084544] [16980] : [80] : cache_create_entry: [1621287834] already exists authd: daemon status=0 length=110"

Issue still occur even after we created new disk and backup data was copy in to the this and initiate the same restore process. Disk is configured with best practice for Veeam disk setting format type ReSF with 64kb. Appreciate if anyone can assist or encounter similar issue to guide us on troubleshooting and resolve the issue. Thanks

Hello tgsereda,

Which compellent system do you have, and what is your current SCOS?  Which version of Veem are you using as well?

Please let us know if you have any other questions.
