Seperate Forums? Please ??
Please tell me the intent is to (quickly) create sub-forums for Compellent? I.e. a General Discussion, Virtualization, Scripting/Automation, Talkback forums. Please tell me Compellent isn't really intending on having everything dumped in this one generic forum?

Thank you for your feedback. The suggestion to create subforums for the more heavily trafficed topics is a very good one. It looks like right now that a powershell script subforum would be the most in demand, and we are looking into creating this. Our forums builder will be looking at creating this, and we should have a definitive answer sometime next week. Thanks!

If enough posts get posted for specific sub-sections, it wouldn't surprise me if the board gets split.

Could we do that proactively please? Keeping content organized is important, having one forum for a company like Compellent is .. well not efficient. I continue to be of the opinion that Compellent doesn't care about its user base or communicating with them effectively.

Bring back the original forums, what happened to all the historical answers we would look for? There is no legacy boards to look up that information.

Users can access the old Compellent Users Forum at customer.compellent.com/forums. You will have to use your old forum user name and password, and the forum is "read only," but you will have access to all of the historical information that is posted there. We are still working on creating sub forums, especially for scripting. Please let us know how else we can improve on the experience here!

I'm glad to see that these forums are starting to grow! As they continue to grow we will keep trying to ensure that relevant information stays readily available for our users. Right now we are limited in how we can display subforums. As you can see, we have started a subforum for the Powershell scripts that we migrated over from the legacy platform. Because of the way the forum software recognizes it, it forces it to appear as a subforum of "storage" rather than of "compellent." Not ideal I realize, but it is what we have right now.
