SCv2000 controller problem
Hello,
we got a used SCv2000. It seems that the second controller has been reset. I can access the controller via Dell Storage Manager and log in. However, a window appears where the license must be selected:
This is not the case for the first controller. Unfortunately, the license is not available. Is there any way to transfer/export the license from the first controller?
I have checked the service tag. The SCv2000 is not covered by a support contract anymore. That's why I'm trying this way.

I believe that it is as easy as accessing the SCV2000 web interface, then go to the good controller Settings > License > Backup License. Then after that it is going to the new controller, or one without the license, and then go to Settings > License > License Management again and then click Import License.

thanks for the reply.
I should have mentioned that I cannot access the web interface of the first controller. I get the following message:
I don't know exactly why and what has been done before. The controllers seem to be in some kind of initialization state.
Is it possible to export the license via CLI? I had a look at the file system and found a file under /licenses/SKU.xml.
But I don't know if this is the right file and can be used.

Hello,
probably the other controller is in Emergency mode, we cannot help you here in the forum, you have to contact our technical support, they can analyze and give you the best resolution steps.

scv2000 dont need license. it is bundled to hardware. so I think you maybe have something other issues.

Hi tianchou,
if it is as you wrote, then I dont understand why I have to select a license, see my first post.
I cannot continue with the configuration, if the license has not been selected.
