Yes, we updated PowerEdge 14Gen against 15Gen and now we are alone in the dark because with a Compellent with SAS Frontend the new HBA355e doesnt work and the old 12G SAS HBA isnt supportet anymore and you cant buy it from dell.

Its sad to see how compellent comes to the end.

Again, it doesn't surprise me to know that we are not alone.Thank you for sharing your experience. Our infrastructure FC SAN. And Our datastores are Live Volume. I am annoyed that Dell behaves this way for certain product lines.Having gray areas about what to do in a time when systems are so dynamic makes us think that our choices are wrong.

Every time new hardware comes out, we are expected to switch to that hardware immediately. It is very interesting that they are so careless about compatibility, even though it has been 2 years since they bought the SC series and the warranty period is still in effect. All we can do is wait for Dell to update their documentation on this. In order not to experience the same things in the next elections, I will not use our preferences in the direction of Dell.
