SC4020 Error BSD authd: daemon status = 0 lenght = 105

Hello people,

I've got a Dell SC4020, and my monitoring system has shown a "critical error" from Dell Storage.

i've checked:
- hardware status - ok

- Fibre channel ports - ok

- No monitoring > logs has shown some logs below:

Error BSD Bottom Controller poller: state=0 status=0
Error BSD Bottom Controller authd: request={'version': 1, opcode': 15, 'status': 0} response={'version': 1, opcode': 15, 'status': 0}
Error BSD Bottom Controller authd: daemon status=0 length=10
Error BSD Top Controller poller: state=0 status=0
Error BSD Top Controller authd: request={'version': 1, 'status': 0, 'opcode': 15} response={'version': 1, 'status': 0, 'opcode': 15}
Error BSD Top Controller  authd: daemon status=0 length=10

- Version: 7.3.4.4

what that could be? do we need to restart the controllers?

Thanks,

regards,

Hello danilosoa,

Did you have a power outage, or any system update recently?  If your system was restarted did you wait 20 minutes before attempting to login?

Hello,

Thanks for you reply,

We didn't have a power outage, neither update recently.

We didn't restart the storage and attempted to login afterwards.

thanks in advance,

Hello danilosoa,

Do you have secure console enabled on your system? If not then it is best to open a support case so we can see what is going on?

You dont need to be worry about these kind of messages.  ALL of your compellents displays these. I checked a couple of 5020,4020 a couple of minutes ago.

Hello @danilosoa,

If the system is still in warranty, you may not be charged. But if it is not in warranty, you should ask for a quote for support.

Regards.
