SC to PS replication - Promoting to volume?

We just purchased an SC4020 SSD array and are replicating to a PS4100 group at our DR site.  I've found numerous articles and videos about replicating from a PS to SC, but nothing about SC to PS.  My question concerned promoting a replica on the PS to a volume.  It appears the only way to do this is by Cloning.  Is there a way to do this similar to the "promote to volume" options when doing a PS to PS replication?
