MLAG iSCSI versus Compelent SC5020

Dear Community,

I have a quick question , I have a SC5020 and 2 switchs N4032F compatible with MLAG , I saw in the documentation : Using MLAG in DELL Networking N-Series Switches from DELL the following information :

Most iSCSI devices should work fine when connected to partner switches. Problems may occur when connecting directly into MLAG domain peer switches. Consult the User Guides for your particular iSCSI devices to determine if network design requires that they connect directly into the MLAG domain peer switches. In some cases, this design may be unsupported.

Is the Compelent SC5020 compatible when connected directly to MLAG domain peer switches ?

I did not find any documentation about this.

Best Regards, Edouard Fazenda.

My understanding of MLAG is that it is used for switch to switch multipath connection. I do not think that would have any effect when connecting to a 5020.

I found this document on Dell switch MLAGs: https://www.dell.com/learn/us/en/04/shared-content~data-sheets~en/documents~dell_networking_n_series_multichassis_lag_mlag.pdf/

I would suggest opening a case to determine the official response by emailing Dell_Online_Storage@Dell.com
