Low Disk Capacity
My Compellent is down to approx 12% free capacity and I'm starting to twitch a little.
Could someone kindly point me at the documentation, which describes what happens as the array starts to run out of space? My Google skills have let me down.
If I remember correctly at 2% the array shuts itself down to preserve data.
Thanks

Hello BBevan,
Which Compellent system do you have as you didn’t state that in your post? Also, are you using tired storage on your SC or no? Do you have any free space that has not been allocated on your SC?
Please let us know if you have any other questions

I have an SC8000 with 2 Tiers (SSD and 10K SAS)
It is running an relatively old version of ScOS 6.5.x.
All disks (except the spares, 1 per tray) are allocated to the storage pool

Hello BBevan,
I am going to send you a private message, & if I can get you to provide me with your Service tag or your controllers serial# I can use secure console to view your current setup. Here is a link to the administrator guide & on page 238 it explains how to configure Secure console. https://topics-cdn.dell.com/pdf/storage-sc2000_administrator-guide_en-us.pdf
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
