Inquiry: Full Storage Compellent 76360

Hi,

Good day guys, can someone explain to me what happens in my storage and what to do. My storage is almost full

but upon checking the volume it's still has a lot of free space(see 2nd screenshot). Can you suggest what to do?

Alert!!

You have overprovioning your storage and runs out of capacity very soon.

If its a VMware environment runs scsi unmap. Otherwise move VMs/ISO/Tempate away or delete them and than run scsi unmap
Check if you have replays
make Backup!!!
Normaly there is a 10% warning threshold visible in DSM. Iam not sure about Unisphere
Change storage profile to "Capacity" but its to late for that

Consider to buy more disks or storage extension. Your SCOS will goes into ReadOnly Mode very soon.
