How to balance the available space of different RAIDs on SC5020
I have a DELL SC5020. but a RAID with 11.89TB of free space. The other RAID only has 385.52GB of free space. I have another 7.47TB of blank space for this storage type.I have 2 questions.
1, How can I make the free space of these 2 RAIDs average?
2, Will I use the free space on the disk after this 11.89TB is used up?

Hello,
Just so you know, things like administration, configuration, optimization, and maintenance aren’t included in technical support. However I want to share a few points and document with you.
There are several options that can be considering: data migration, rebalancing the RAID groups, and creating a new RAID.
Regarding your second question, yes, the free space on the disk will be available for future use once the 11.89TB RAID is full. However, its immediate accessibility may depend on your RAID configuration and storage pool settings.
By considering these options and leveraging your SC5020’s capabilities, you can effectively balance the space across your RAIDs and optimize your storage utilization. Understanding RAID with Dell EMC SC Series Storage
Hope that helps!

About your 2nd. screenshot.
The 1.36TB are the current high watermark about allocated space on the disk which means around 283GB are totaly unused on the disk. Iam missing the colum "SpareSpace" or doesnt you have anable the dynamic space disk feature which comes with SCOS 7.3?
The first screenshot.
SCOS allocated and assign capacity automaticy and when there is a need for. How is your data progression configured and if you use data progression on demand(its triggert when you use snapshots)?
Yes i have seen problems in the past (long time ago) where this doesnt work as expected and Dell support shifts some blocks around.
Here it looks similar. The RAID5 within tier3 is almost full but the system have 25.44TB unused(i called it virgin) space in reserve.
