In my statement above:
"There is not a compatibility list for Compellent drives like we have for MD3xxx systems."
I was giving a comparison. We do not have a list for Compellent drives like we have for MD3xxx system.
That is why I recommend contacting Sales and specify you are looking for hard drive for SCV3000 to ensure it has the correct firmware.

I would recommend contacting Sales and specify you are looking for hard drive for SCV3000 to ensure it has the correct firmware.
Your SCv3000 needs to read the drive and find the Compellent firmware so that it can access the drive.
There is not a compatibility list for Compellent drives like we have for MD3xxx systems.
