Connect two R440s to one SC3020 over SAS HBA
Hello good morning community
I need to connect two R440 servers to an SC3020 in DAS, my question is: can I use the miniSAS ports that the controllers have integrated to connect these servers or are these ports only for expansion boxes?

The two "inbuild" SAS HD Mini Ports are for connecting the expansion units to a SC.
If you would like to connect Hosts to a SC you need the 4 Port 12Gbit SAS PCI card for the controllers. The Controller of a SCv3020 have a PCIe Slot for that.
