Compression on SCv3000

I wonder if this is a meaningful question at all but are there any test results or white paper that would demonstrate the capability of SCv3000's Intelligent Compression feature? For example, how is the compression ratio comparing to gz or zip in general, and how much performance lost to be expected?

I couldn't find much information besides a brief description in Storage Manager 2018 R1 Administrator's Guide.
