cloudiq collector credentials for vmware

I am a little unclear on what you are looking for assistance with. Are you asking how to connect to the Virtual Appliance you installed as a Data Collector on your ESX Host?

Hi, I am actually looking for credentials for CloudIQ Vmware Data collector and it's troubleshooting guide, I see some issues with that.

 

cloudiQ Vmware vapp data collector was newly launched sometime last month.

Did you get any answer? I have also issue with the "CloudIQ Connector vApp".
I can not access the vApp via the browser and I do not know a user/pass for the console...

 

 

Issue is fixed, below my fact finding, maybe its useful for you as well… Root Cause: CloudIQ Collector vAPP is compiled on “VM Version 7” (ESXi 4.0) Problem: Network Adapter “LSI Logic Parallel” is not supported by “Other Linux” Result: PING is working, HTTPS is not working Resolution: Upgrade VM Compatibility to “VM Version 6.7” (ESXi 6.7) Under VM Options 0> General Options => change Guest Version to “Oracle Linux 7.x” After this steps you can now access the vApp via HTTPS….

You should deploy the CloudIQ collector appliance on your Vmware host. Turn it on then follow the wizard for configuration.

Some settings is very un-clear at all. Anyway I just configured it. Now waiting for information synch.
