Can I reuse Compellent drives in a desktop PC?
We have several drives left over (new, used, and refurbished) from decommisioned SC8000, SC220 and SCv3020 devices. Can these be reformatted and used in a desktop PC? Thanks

yes. you can. but first you need to have a sas controller. Most desktop use sata disk but dell compellent disk are sas type.
