Can I disable Protocol Endpoint presentation to ESX?

Dear all

I am encountering a problem in the SRM6.1 working with Dell Compellent SCv2020 SCOS 7.1. The SRM can discover the the replication pair, but some of the LUN discovered by SRM cannot match the datastore.

Then I checked the log and found the below, the NAA ID in red is the protocol endpoint presented by the Storage Center,  and the black one is the real LUN.

So anyone using Compellent encountered the same with the SRM? And anyone now how to solve it?  Can I disable Storage Center presenting the protocol endpoint to the vSphere?

Best regards

Hi Alex,

Try modifying the server objects, if you have ESXi 6.0 or 6.5 go to DSM edit the server object to ESXi 5.5, this should remove the PE's from being presented as this is a functionality of VVOLs introduced in ESXI 6.0.  All the mappings are handled the same way when choosing the server object to be ESXI 5.5., 6.0, .6.5, it is just the PE's being presented with 6.0 and later.
