allocated space and free space

I think you uploaded a screenshot but I can not see it. Could you recheck it pls? In general, it may not immediately use all the available physical space until storage demands increase. Compellent typically manages allocated space automatically. The SC system intelligently adds space to your allocated area as needed, rather than all at once.

Manually adjusting it is not recommended, as it could interfere with internal processes. Allocated space might reflect past peak usage and may not decrease even if there is a lot of free space.

the problem is The SC system didn't add space to allocated area as needed and enter to emergency mode after copying 300gb and we have 25tb free space that why am asking how to adjust the allocated space.

The storage might not have enough allocated space, can you check if you can expand volume by right-clicking on the volume in the storage tab. But ultimately, it is recommended to contact support to check the actual space available for expanding.

The storage   does not have enough allocated space only 300GB but free space 25TB ,i can expand volume and mapping to server but with copying more than 290gb am in the emergency mode
