2x SC5020F. License file recovery

Hello.

Having problem. Company has 2x SC5020F. Buyed via Dell Baltics in 2018y. Support ended in 2023y.

Devices are bound to this account. I can see them inside this account.

Now problem: We don't have license file. And we don't see our licenses inside Digital Locker.

Asked Dell Baltics for help. They suppose it's because units are out of warranty, so Digital Locker don't show them and we are not able to download key. Suggested to contact Support Line.

We tryed contacted Support Line. Support line says we don't need licenses :) And they don't understand at all what we want from them. Moreover, support line verified by Service Tag and mentioned that we can factory reset them without impact of license.

This forum branch shows exactly how we don't need backup of license files. Device reset? License needed. Device corruption? License needed. Something critical to SCOS? License needed. And etc etc etc.

So. Question: How to get license files for 2x Compellents?

Can provide full information from Storage Manager Client, old tickets emails, even can possibly find 7y old documents of ordering HW and will have direct console access to all 4 controllers in near future 1-2 weeks.

Or any possible way to extract them via shell access? Whatever way not to leave one day with 30kg of metal.

Any help? Suggestion? Something?

If you have an old logs file then I believe you can find it in there. Also, if the devices are still functional then you should be able to go to Dell Storage Manager (DSM) or Enterprise Manager Client to export the configuration under System Manager > System > Licenses

and check if there's an option to export or view license keys.

Now if you still can't locate it or export the license file, and are out of warranty, then you will need to call in to support and pay to get the license file restored. 

Being out of warranty limits our ability to help.
